Speaker Bio: Arun Kumar Pariyar is a free and open source and linux enthusiast. He has years of experience on web technologies, cloud infrastructures and WordPress as his primary content management system. He is also the Co-Founder and Lead Developer of a popular Linux distribution of Nepal ie Chitwanix OS. He is currently working as technical lead at Astranix Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Arun has expertise on security, performance, high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure running WordPress in large-scale. He has worked as Freelance Linux Engineer and WordPress Consultant for companies in Nepal and across the globe. Arun is one of the active volunteers in some FOSS communities like FOSS Nepal Community, WordPress Bharatpur Community and has presented in many WordPress camps, meetups and workshops. Besides technology, he enjoys riding his bike, hacking stuffs and trying new cuisines.
Session Summary: In this session, Arun will share his journey on how he started WordPress with Linux. He’ll be illustrating system architecture for WordPress in production. Also, he’ll be sharing pros, challegenes and optimization techniques of WordPress in Linux systems for production. Moreover, the session will focus on high availability system architectures for high traffic WordPress sites
